If the pedestrian moves into, or crosses the path of the car, or is stationary in the path of the car, City Safety warns the driver and brakes automatically if the driver does not applied the brakes, at speeds up to 70 km/h. A collision with a pedestrian can be avoided at speeds up to 45 km/h. For the speeds between 45 km/h to 70 km/h, the collision is mitigated.

B) City Safety Technology: Large Animal Detection

In the Volvo S90 our comprehensive standard collision avoidance package, City Safety, also includes detection of large animals, like moose and horses. The standard-fitted radar/camera unit can detect the large animals standing on the road or slowly moving across the road with the side towards the car.

How to do Car Sunroof Maintenance Specially Porsche 944


Hey guys today, I'm gonna be telling you how to operate the sunroof in your Porsche 944. So all right, today I'm gonna be telling you how to tilt the sunroof also how to remove and install them basically process of car sunroof installation now it doesn't matter if you have a 924 early 944 with a manual sunroof I'll be telling you how to remove that also how to operate the later sunroof because it is a little bit different than the early electric sunroof and Keep in mind that if you have any stripped gears or any electrical issues that you'll need to get those sorted out first which helps solving car sunroof problems too.

So let's get started Firstly the car which is Porsche 944 with a manual sunroof keeping in mind that the 924 has the same sunroof. As you can see there are two latches in the front and then two in the rear. The first thing I'm gonna show you guys is how to tilt these manual sunroof's In order to tilt the sunroof the first thing we need to do is release the latches.

We're going to do that and then turn it 90 degrees and then do the same for the other side. Once you have both latches released you're ready to tilt the sunroof. First you're going to lift it up and then you're gonna take your latches and then sit them down into the groove there and that's how you tilt the early manual route.

Next I'll tell you how to remove the manual sunroof, So in order to remove the roof the only thing you have to do from the point once you have the rear latches unhooked is unclip the front latches. Once the front latches are undone you're ready to pull the sunroof out installing the roof is just as easy and is the reverse order slide it on to your sunroof deflector and then drop it down.

And then lock your latches down, once you have your sunroof in, you're just gonna take your rear latch turn it and lock it down like that and do the same on the other side. Once you have the rear lock down then you can go ahead and lock down the front there you go there. You go guys. That's how you operate a manual sunroof.

Next we're gonna be looking at the early electric sunroof, And you can see the switch of sunroof now that switch has different operations depending on what position the ignition switch in. So for instance if I just stick the key in there this is going to retract the arm so that way I can remove the sunroof. Then that one here is going to engage the arms again.

Now when the car is running or I have the key in the on position this is only going to tilt the sunroof up and then this one is going to lower it. So the first thing I'm going to do is just tell you how to remove the sunroof since it only requires me sticking the key here into the ignition. Now as I mentioned when I push the button this is going to retract the arms [arms retract], once the rear arms are retracted what you'll need to do is unclip the front two latches located there and rear side here. Once you have the arms are tracted and you have the front latches uncliped.

You're ready to lift up on the rear of the sunroof slide it off the wind deflector, here and remove it like that. Installation of sunroof is the reverse of the removal. First you want to set your deflector where you won't break it.

The deflector is going to slide between the panel in the sunroof, there once its slide on, just drop it down like that and once the sunroof is on all you need to do is lock down the front latches and then to engage the arms you just need the key in the first position and this time you're going to hit this button And that's going to bring the arms back up into the sunroof engaging it again [Arms engaging] and that's how you remove and reinstall a sunroof on an early electric car.

Next I'm going to tell you how to tilt the sunroof. So as I mentioned before the ignition switch position actually controls what this switch does so just to recap if I stick this key in the first position here then of course this is going to retract the arms on the sunroof while this is going to engage them.

Now if I take the key and either start the car or put the ignition switch in the on position it's going to do something else if I push that here now instead of retracting the arms it's going to tilt the sunroof up and that's how you tilt your sunroof and of course to close the sunroof you're just going to press the button here. So there you go guys, that is how you operate the early electric sunroofs.

Next, we're gonna be looking at operating the late electric sunroof, so its like the early electric roofs the key position is going to dictate what this switch does here. Now, unlike the early roofs if you just stick this key into the ignition here like this and press the switch, nothing is going to happen so to retract the arms on the late sunroofs, you actually need the key to be very first click here, and then you can push that down and that will retract the arms.

Once the arms are retracted, then you simply unclip the front latches, then you're ready to remove the sunroof. And again the installation of sunroof is the reverse of the removal.

Once you have your sunroof back in then you can just lock down your front latches and then you'll go down there push the button to re-engage the sunroof.

So now I'll be telling you how to tilt the late electric sunroof. You'll need the key in the on position and then you're going to go down there and push the button and that's going to tilt the roof. And finally close the sunroof you're just going to hit the button there.
